Medium Mazes (Large Print)

Medium mazes add more turns while keeping the same simple task: connect START to FINISH through the open corridors. Each grid has fifteen columns and nineteen rows. Compared with easy, you will have more junctions to inspect and somewhat narrower paths on a Letter-size sheet. All twelve mazes are different, and every maze has exactly one route from its entrance to its exit.

About the medium level

Follow one corridor to the next decision point rather than trying to remember a whole route at once. When a branch stops, return to the last junction and continue along an unexplored opening. A light line is easier to correct than a heavy one. If you like working in pairs, one person can point out the next opening while the other traces, with roles changing between pages.

The full PDF includes twelve activity pages followed by twelve solutions with matching numbers. Check just the next junction on an answer page if you want a small hint. Choose an easy maze when wider corridors would feel more comfortable, or move to hard when you want more of the page devoted to a longer network.

Tips for tracing

  • Use a light pencil line so you can erase a wrong turn.
  • Look ahead to the next junction before you move your pencil.
  • At a dead end, return to the last split and try the other opening.
  • The solution is always one single path from START to FINISH.
