In short: you do not need an account to use Big Letter Puzzles, the site sets no cookies of its own, and the words you type into the word search maker stay in your browser. Advertising from Google is the main thing that can involve cookies, and this page explains how.
Who runs this site
Big Letter Puzzles is run by Pepe Rivera, a web developer based in Spain. You can reach me at procaiagency@gmail.com or through the contact page.
What the site collects
There are no accounts, no forms, no comments and no newsletter. The word search maker builds your puzzle and your PDF inside your own browser. The title and words you type are not sent to my server and are not stored.
If you email me, I use your address and message only to reply, and I will delete them if you ask.
Cookies
The site itself does not set cookies and does not use analytics tools. Cookies and similar identifiers may be set by Google when advertising is shown, as described below.
Advertising with Google AdSense
This site uses Google AdSense to show advertising. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads and, depending on your settings and location, to show ads based on your earlier visits to this and other websites. Google’s own explanation is on its page about how Google uses information from sites that use its services.
You can manage personalized advertising in Google Ads Settings, or learn about opting out of interest-based advertising from participating companies at aboutads.info. Your browser settings also let you block or delete cookies, although some parts of other sites may stop working as a result.
Visitors in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, advertising is shown through Google’s consent message. It asks for your choice before personalized advertising cookies are used, and you can change that choice later through the privacy and cookie settings option that the message provides. If you decline, you may still see ads that are not personalized.
Hosting and server logs
The site is hosted on Vercel. Like most web hosts, Vercel processes technical information needed to deliver pages and keep them secure, such as your IP address, the page you requested, and your browser type. I do not use these logs to identify individual visitors.
Children
The site is written for adults and families and is not directed at children under 13. I do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your choices and rights
Because the site collects almost no personal data itself, there is very little to access or delete. If you have emailed me and want your message removed, or if you have a privacy question, write to procaiagency@gmail.com. Depending on where you live, you may also have rights with your local data protection authority, and Google provides its own tools for the data it holds about you.
Changes to this policy
If the way the site handles data changes, for example if analytics are added, I will update this page and its date. See also the terms of use.
