Playing tips and a fun fact

Choose a flower you recognize and look for its first two letters together. A pair such as IR can be quicker to spot than a single I. Some of the longer names have repeated letters, so check every position before drawing a circle. At a group session, let participants invent a bouquet using three words they have found.

A sunflower head is made up of many small flowers rather than one enormous flower. That detail offers a different way to look at a familiar shape. After solving, sketch the center and petals of an imaginary bloom, or compare which entries would fit in a pot and which might need a larger garden bed.
